Great Horned Owl

Original: oil on hardboard panel 27 1/4” x 15 3/4” (sold)

The Great Horned Owl, one of the world’s largest owls, is common across most of North America. Here, it sits perched on the trunk of a Cottonwood, a tree that also is common in much of North America.

This painting is one of my wife’s favourites. She was a bit regretful to see it sell. But, good news for her and anyone else who would like it, prints are available.
