This orchid was given to my wife by her mother. It successfully re-blooms and cannot be put down. It’s resplendent beauty called loudly. It wanted to sit for a portrait. By painting it, the memory of it’s shapes, colour, grace and intricacies can be enjoyed long after the flower fades.
